Saw this advertised last week, and set the sky+ straight away!!!!
I hope plenty of views of my favorite of all time, the Vulcan!!! She kept the peace all those years on stand by at Waddo........and only nearing the end of her service life did she get a chance to see action!!!!

Really informative documentary on the Operation which looked to be as usual made up on the fly so to speak. In hindsight I wonder what the outcome would have been had the Victor Tanker crew not taken such a huge risk, or the one bomb which landed on target had not ? I also watched the return to The Falklands tonight with Simon Western, seeing him and listening to the remaining islanders puts the whole operation to kick the Argentinians back to the main land in perspective as does the continued security being undertaken now. There are far too many Lefty MP`s and anti British protaganists living in Britain who would follow the thought and ideas of a majority in Labour`s and to some degree Lib Dem camps who would even now give the islands to the Argies, who BTW have Never had ownership or legal posession.

I finally watched it today!!! Nice when they showed how the Victors were going to refuel each other then the Vulcans, then themselves again, then the Vulcans again!!! Who the hell worked that ballet out? ? Could we defend the IOM at the moment if anyone invaded it? :-( John
