Don't forget reset the forum clock in your profile to +1hour GMT or the posts will show the wrong time.

Another thing to alter, which I always forget is your camera clock. I rely a lot on time and date on my photos. Regards Beemer.

Cameras operate on whatever time the owner wishes to programme them to use, or indeed the 'default' set by the manufacturer! Mine, since new has been 25 minutes ahead of GMT, set to BPJ time not BST or even GMT! I really ought to find the instruction manual though!
I think I'm right in saying that on the forum, in 'settings' if you tick 'GMT+0' and also 'Summer Time' boxes, then the clock changes automatically with the seasons.

I made the adjustment suggested by Mr.Speedbird and now my own forum clock shows BST (GMT+1) when I'm logged in but GMT if I don't log in. I suspect that if the "actual" forum clock is subsequently updated to show BST,I will then be one hour too far ahead and will have to switch back. But I might be wrong??? Surely the time shown should be the same whether the user is logged in or not.
As a check I logged out and looked at the time this message was originally posted. It said 7.26pm even though I actually sent it at 8.26 local time. Only when I logged back in does it report the correct time. I don't think this can be right.

Keith, I've just changed the setting on the forum clock to CET, so it should be ok even if you are not logged in now. Cheers, Dave

Moderators...
I'm not sure if this is caused by something I did,but the forum clock only shows me the correct time when I am logged in. Otherswise it still reads BST (GMT+1). To check this, log out and look at the forum time.
UPDATE...checked again at 1225 pm and the one-hour discrepancy between logged-in and logged-out forum time had been resolved. Thanks to whoever fixed it!
