When I was a lot younger in the early 70's,a gent had a Vampire T 11 in his garden in Vyner Road South, Wirral. I have told my kids about this and they dont believe me so now I am on a quest to locate a picture of the aircraft in the afore mentioned garden.
Well that was the intention, but up to now i have found it belonged to Mr. Ian Morrison, who had it moved to Irby Hall when he moved house in 1980.The aircraft was dismantled in 1986 in Bootle,as above I even found out the serial number. For the life of me I cant find a photo of it in the garden.
Can anyone shed any light on the subject or maybe where i can get hold of a photo?

The period when Airwork were converting Vampire NF.10s at Speke during the '50s is covered as a type review on the Liverpool region Nostalgia section. This photo is an Alan Schoefield shot and also appears on wikipedia.org on the Vampire entry.
