I presume the airline is a division of German OLT?
OLT Express will operate a mixed fleet of ATR-72s and Airbus A319/320 aircraft. They have announced 5 bases at Warsaw, Bydgoszcz, Gdansk, Lodz and Rzeszow. The airline will also be operating from Katowice, Krakow, Poznan, Szczecin and Wroclaw.
They seem to be using Ryanair/Wizz Air airports such as Liverpool, Cork, Frankfurt Hahn, Memmingen and Dortmund. but in the UK they will be operating:-
2 weekly on all routes from Bydgoscz to Bristol, Edinburgh, Gatwick, Liverpool and Newcastle
Daily from both Warsaw and Gdansk to Gatwick
1 Weekly from Lodz to Edinburgh.
Times aren't good through Liverpool but time will tell

I did hear that they wanted to use MAN for a service to WAW but got cold feet when Ryanair announced a service to Warsaw Modlin. But as Steve mentioned, the times are shocking and to me, it gives a half hearted attempt and making the LPL service a success.

Stop complaining people! You wanted new roperators and routes, you got one. How about giving the airport some credit?

Any idea why the long stop at Liverpool?
What is the attraction of Bydgoszcz?

Ron, being domiciled in France, you are probably not aware of the huge numbers of Poles now working in the UK. Apparently obscure destinations like Bydgoszcz in northern Poland are aimed at them rather than tourists. Having said that, Bydgoszcz looks quite pleasant and Poland in general is a very attractive country.

I would imagine the long stop is to time the arrival for about 0530 arrival back at its base,it looks like a typical night service that uses spare capacity,EZY operate that way on a friday/saturday, to IBZ .However ,it remains to be seen how successful it will be,As for the attraction of its destination,I am not sure,we did have flight there with FR once,

I fly to Katowice often and they're mainly for the poles to visit home, so I would say it'll be the same on the Bydgoszcz flight.

The success of this route is vital, not because of the destination, but because it is the first of a new operator.

According to the OLT Express timetable the service is due to be operated by an A320.

Those timings only attracts it to just one group of pax, the Polish. As such, it makes the success of the route that much harder.
