Well after that decision I am glad I have other sports to keep me going--I too have played rugby--both codes at a fairly high level and was offered a professional signing into RL as an 18 year old,I fish when I can and in France I play boules .I cycle and I love to watch test cricket BUT despite all of this I feel saddened by the departure of one of football and Liverpool's greats in what seems unjust haste. We will still get the European football flights next year but remember who made it possible. this time. YNWA Kenny always the King.

The writing was on the wall- King Kenny was the manager who was over LFC's worst ever point return since the premiership commenced-his record was worse than Roy HODGSON's Also don't fall back on winning the Worthless Cup- Birmingham won that last year and look what happened to them!!!! One red said to me last week we did better than UTD- UTD were runners up- LPL were 39 points worse off than them- and finished 8th in a two horse race. LFC are apparently bringing a DVD out about how Man Utd did not win the league!!!! Also Ken Dodd is going to be the next manager- so they can keep the same letters on the managers coat, and they don't get laughed at as much. Onwards and Upwards Bob PS We finished 7th in a two horse race. Back to the Champions League Final.

So glad Evertonians at last have something to shout about .Well done for having a good season. Pity you actually won nothing.-except losing cup semifinalists--short term memory problem there I think but then I can appreciate that-Alzheimer's can creep up on you.LOL
Its always good for the airport when both sides of the city can call in European flights for the football. Time someone started pulling their weight in that department. Everton --still a LIDL club. Ken Dodd--brilliant scouse humour--LOL Keep it coming. ;D I love the banter afforded by the forum so long as we don't let it become personal.
Anything is better than contemplating Françoise Hollande--the clown prince of France. Troops home by Xmas? One election promise down and God knows how many to come.LOL

John, Just remember without this LIDL club there would be no LFC. The flights and the revenue you get playing in the Europa League is not worth writing home about- so I would not start shouting ones mouth off about "Pulling ones weight" We more than likely got more revenue, finishing above the mighty reds in the Premier league than what our red chums will get playing in that Europa League. By the way start my 50th season supporting the blues and going to the game, next year. Happy Days Bob

Well done Bob keep it coming--a blue for 50 years--Now that IS persistance. I remember watching the blues in the Liverpool cup a few years ago--Roy Vernon was playing I think and Liverpool had Bert Slater in goal and Jimmy Meilia in mid field. Just started with a new manager I think but then time dims the memory.
Once drove from Florence to Basle to watch the reds play FC Basle in a friendly but the home games are hard to get to at the moment.LOL
Roll on the footy charters--can't believe we wont have some.It will be good to keep track of that.
Ken Dodd--still chuckling at that one.LOL
