Once again Liverpool have a poor season ,finishing lower than Everton--congratulations to them- however they won more trophies than Mun U,Arsenal and Tottenham put together and are in Europe next year. YNWA roll on the next season and a few choice buys--if Dalgleish is under threat for his performance Ferguson and wenger must be in fear of their lives.LOL . looking forward to aviation visitors from all over Europe next season when the reds are home or away

Thanks Kev. I can't pretend to understand the procedures in these things, I just thought they had to finish higher up the table.
Good news, hopefully we will get some decent European charters next season!
Cheers,
Dave

Can't believe it--what more could the man do in the time allowed. Incredible decision--still can't believe it.

Trouble with Football is now that the "money men" from USA and Saudi get to own clubs or invest massive amounts of money they want "Immediate" returns and if it doesn`t happen in one season the manager is toast. As in Kenny`s case. The problem is that people like KG do not play and highly paid players do, sadly the contracts are worded to prevent a reduction in salary even if they do not play well or are placed on the bench. I have watched Liverpool play as my wife is the fan not me. The players have played the majority of their matches on a level worse than the Sunday League in a local park. Kenny should have read the riot act to these overpaid players and clearly stated they started doing what they get paid to do or they go. He certainly should have had another season to get a grip, but investers do not want that time delay. Stupid decision. I wonder if Rafa will be tempted out of Caldy to return.
