We went to Spain for 10 days. Knowing we would be away and our hangar at home would be free, a friend asked if he could put an aeroplane in there, so naturally we agreed. Look at the surprise I found when I opened the door from our kitchen to the hangar. Was there ever a better sight that you could share with friends? RT

Yes, it is a French thing. The reg is F-P.... P is reserved for all amateur built aeroplanes.
Before an aircraft can become a F-P it first has to pass inspection and flight tests. For this purpose, and before it is signed off by the equivalent of the LAA it must display F-W...... (with the same following letters) Thus it can be seen the technical status of the machine.
In the case of the Mossie , it has just become an F-P.... And the guys have to change all the panels yet. Full marks for the observation.
It's going to be flying at the 40th anniversary of the flying club on Sunday. All are welcome.

If that happened in Merseyside and many parts of the UK, if someone was asked if whilst being away they could put something in your "garage", it could be a bad idea to agree. LOL
