Why oh why are many of our ex service men having to do without a pension -the Govt say that it is too expensive to give retrospective pensions to those who were disposed of before 1975. YET we give handouts to illegals and assylum seekers who are at best colonists and at worse a 5th column of fanatics hoping to bring the West to its knees. I cannot see how a BRITISH Government can act in this way. I am going to stop watching the BBC news --It just no longer makes sense. Are the British people totally supine? It will be too late when you are living on the reservation. Sad sad sad.

Another one for Purdey to get her teeth into. It looks like the younger generation are starting to rebel. From what I've heard, most of the votes cast for the BNP were from people under 35.

John, Much as it is irritating, not watching the BBC news won't make it any better. Almost like sticking your head in the sand and that just isn't you. Ray

True but not watching the BBC may improve my blood pressure--which incidentallly has come down to well within normal since I arrived in France. I know that only sensationalism sells but if half of the items are true we are in free fall. Good job we have the forum to vent our spleen.LOL Must go and find an Alka Seltser--went to the Fete de St Jean in the village last night----my God can my mates put away the wine--no sense in TRYING to compete there even though they almost give me the wimp bit when I cover my glass with my hand. Too much of a good thing is not always great the morning after. I wonder what happened to the second spit roast suckling pig.MMMh ;D ;D
