Runcorn Bridge Roadworks 30 June/01 July

Hi All,
Are the roadworks still continuing on the bridge at weekends? I seem to remember a sign displaying roadworks until the end of June.
Also is the slip road coming back onto the bridge from the dual carriageway past ICI still closed as well.
Any information would be welcome I'll check the webcams in the morning.

Les, the road works are still on for the unforeseeable future and the slip road from the ICI/Ineos direction is still closed at weekends. It is a pain in the derriere but we just have to grin and bear it. Go past the closed slip road and turn right at the lights in to Homebase. Go round the island and back out again towards the bridge. Don't do a u-turn at the lights as they had Mr Plod there last week. Regards Beemer.

Thanks a lot for the information that's a great help. I will look out for the police as I usually do a u turn at the lights as it gets so busy at times.
