As it will be primarily a holiday route the ib LPL times are very good for families. Going ob isn't given it arrives 35 mins before midnight. Yeh true. And some hotels don’t let you check in after midnight so don’t know what you do in the mean time? sleep in the lobby

Burgas would be very popular but wizzair don’t have a base there, but a certain Irish one does.

Seriously have you seen the amount of slot 3 departures (after 1800) the UK has in summer to places like Bulgaria Greece and Turkey. Check in at that time isn’t a problem

That's a no from you then.
If you had personal experience of travelling WITH your own then you would know how hard it is.

Yeah I’ve had personal experience many times, plus working in the industry for over 24 years I’ve seen a lot of families travel that time of night too.

Advice from travel professionals Thomas Cook in their blurb - * tired toddlers, travel sickness, boredom and a lack of facilities can be a recipe for disaster * try and keep to your child’s normal sleep pattern as best as you can * book flight times that aren’t too antisocial

I wonder if Wizz might look at basing an aircraft at LPL as they do at LTN and looking at non eastern European destinations.

You can give all the advice you like, but if that is the time of the flight, that is the time of day you go - and you work around the problems that presents as best you can. Arriving anywhere after 10pm at night that is not your 'home' airport is fraught with onward travel issues unless you are being met or have a tour operator's coach awaiting. That is with or without small children as an additional challenge. Travelling with kids at any time of day is hard work.

Having had children of my own and grandchildren too, I for one would choose a flight which had the least possible chance of having families on board.

I agree Ron,but the CEO said recently that 2 airlines had pushed the pause button,so does that mean that Wizz is not one of them. Good to see them bringing more routes to the city. He also said a little while back that a link with an airline offering onward worldwide connections was something he felt would be sorted soon.

Agreed this is a very good announcement but just a little bit surprised and disappointed that Blue Air did not think of it. It is more or less, in their back yard.

I still just wonder who it would be with cause Manchester has so many hublink airlines so well served

I wonder if the Liverpool operation will be done by the UK based Wizzair fleet rather than the European Aircraft because of Brexit ?
