Bit of good news, it looks like Iasi is increased to 3 weekly from November, operating Monday Wednesday and Friday.

Not surprising. A lot of people use Iasi to travel to Bacau and Chisinau, two routes formerly operated by Wizz Air from Liverpool.

Tirana will operate 4 times a week now, presumably in response to Ryanair starting the route from Manchester z

Even though the Tirana only had 67% LF in 2022. I believe the route was started at the wrong time in the wake of COVID. However going forward I think this route will perform well however with Manch now on the case I think 4x flight won’t end well and there will be a loss somewhere down the line - espiclaly flight prices. Wizz air have an average price of a one way ticket of £130 where as Ryanair are going for £22.99

Ryanair seem to always be watching Wizz. Wizz were going to launch LPL - ROM, then suddenly FR did.

The Tirana flights are now being shown as operated by Wizz Air Malta. I thought an EU airline couldn't operate between 2 non-EU destinations?

Wizz Air has leased Airbus A320 N278GX from GlobalX Airlines of the USA. The aircraft arrived at Bucharest today and was one time G-TCAE and G-YLBM.

Wizz Air Malta took delivery of Airbus A321NEO 9H-WDR today. The reason I mention it is that it is a Chinese manufactured example and not built at Toulouse or Hamburg. The aircraft was delivered from Tianjin in China to Budapest, via Almaty, today.
I will wait for the usual moans and complaints but I thought it was of interest.
