pax were not happy this morning, the bags belts broke for an hour and half all bags had to be taken through oversize causing a huge pile up of bags and people, i was boarding at gate 7 and a young mum and dad were screaming towards me why are there no lifts for this gate this is f ing disgusting i’ve got a toddler, i am going from manchester next time. i’m like ok and there is no lift cause it’s a portacabin
Rather excessive. Plus hate hearing foul language, but in front of a kiddie...dreadful .
common as muck , horrible eyebrows and botoxed lips around 31 years old. probably from the bad parts of Liverpool, yeh i wouldn’t swear infront of my child if i had one, yeh my fault the airport has no lifts and has portcabin gates for over a decade now.

Travelling for the airport Friday morning and arriving by train. I bought a combined train/bus ticket to Liverpool Airport which means I don't need to have change for the bus at South Parkway. I don't know if this ticketing arrangement is commonly known. Maybe it should be publicized a bit.

It is very well known and has been sold by the airlines and railway at time of booking for many years. I am told however (but not sure how true it is) that it is more expensive than paying on the bus direct. Perhaps you may be able to confirm this. A single ticket to the airport/city centre costs £2.30 via the driver. What is not as well know is that you can pay by contactless credit/debit card on the bus too.

I am told that Robin Tudor, Head of PR at Liverpool Airport is off to talk to TAS in Sept.
The topic is 'the proposed Liverpool airport expansion'. Would have hoped that any news re 'proposed Liverpool airport expansion' would have been broached at a FoLA/LJLACC meeting first.

I know that this subject has been discussed to death in these pages but I have just caught up with the ITV program "Yorkshire Airport" Leeds/Bradford have 2 air bridges and in the program you can clearly see at least one of them labelled up with KLM markings. KLM operate from there. Is it a condition which they have imposed for operating from that airport, that they require an air bridge for their passengers? Although Humberside or Teeside don't have one.

I doubt it. Half the KLM City Hopper flights at Schiphol use remote stands...

I wonder if it would be a good move for LPL to have a couple too.

It would at least be a statement of intent. Winter is coming. Surely air bridges are better than trudging through the snow.

I know at Faro Easyjet use an air bridge and steps at back at same time to board / disembark passengers.

Our recent jolly to Tenerife from Manchester on Ryanair. Didn’t use air bridges at either airport
