Is the AN225 visit still on does anybody know? Are these a/c ADS-B equiped so they show on FR24...etc? TIA, Steve Manchester Evening News are also carrying the story that it is due today. Only three posts about it on another thread on here though and quiet on several other forums. The airport themselves tweeted confirmation of its visit today and have not retracted that so I guess it's still on. Regards, Garry

The AN225 is on its way, ADB292F seen @ 2013-06-24 09:11 UTC Seen where? and how? TIA, Steve This link shows when it is active and gives its Callsign: www.flightradar24.com/data/airplanes/ur-82060It did plot on the Map for a brief period on Flightradar24 MLAT for a while but i missed it and MLAT does not show on Playback. As MLAT coverage is currently only in the area in the screenshot below, i could not track it. (This screenshot is from last week and is only to show coverage.)

It was such a brief paint, down near Toulouse and heading south east (though I didn't catch any speed details, so could have been on the ground at TLS), I would suggest it was an erroneous squawk selection.

23R currently closed, a Thomas Cook A330, G-OMYT, has suffered a catastrophic engine failure on take off roll and aborted take off. Engine parts have been found on the runway.
May delay further movements in and out...
Sounds from radio chatter that some traffic may go to LJLA.
