How was the onboard service , comfort etc ? Similar to comments above, onboard service very friendly and leg room on the A321 a rather nice 32-34in, on the A320neo closer to 29in. You really do pay a lot for extras (baggage) though would be my only comment, though the cost for food and drink onboard is actually relatively reasonable. All flights landed early as well which is a nice bonus. No in seat entertainment but easy to download some netflix in advance

To Hamilton, which is roughly the same mileage to Toronto as Southend is to London. It is also a lot closer to Niagara falls than Pearson. Hamilton was also once served direct from Liverpool too if I remember correctly.

With Play using the A321neo today, I assume its a particularly busy service. Be interesting to know.

I would imagine that there would have been plenty of Liverpool and Chelsea fans returning on this flight, as the A321 was also used on Friday to bring them here for the weekend.

Looks like this has been taken off sale from 22nd December. I was looking yesterday for Easter weekend next year which was available but now it seems to have disappeared past December.

I doubt that Easter 2024 will show up yet. When I tried to book flights recently for a cruise in 2024 ,Trailfinders were telling me that flights more than I think they said 330 days do not get loaded into system. (could have been 365 days!)

It was showing yesterday (one year in advance) but has disappeared today, every other destination I tried is showing past December 22nd.

Some destinations from Reykjavik are loaded after December and some are not. Whilst Stansted shows into 2024, Glasgow, Liverpool and Dublin for instance do not. That may be due to timing of loading or it may indicate that those routes are not profitable. A recent interview with the CEO of Play reported that the airline would be ruthless in cutting non performing routes.

As the flights stop from today. Is it right to assume they are operating this service to tie in with the football season. Do people not want to fly this route in the summer. This would be the peak time for visiting friends and relations, I would have thought. They may have more profitable routes for summer. Or am I reading too much in this.

Play have had a bright idea on how [not] to sell tickets!
Their website is not showing fares until after you have picked the date of a flight.
Totally pointless.

I discovered this too. I got fed up and looked at Icelandair. (From Paris.)
