Thomson Ski has been using easyjet's ski routes from Liverpool for at least the last two ski seasons (2010/11 & 2011/12). In addition if you book Thomson Al Fresco summer holidays it gives you the option to fly with easyjet from Liverpool to the Mediterranean destinations too

Likewise Riviera Holidays in the Times and directly through their website. I'm surprised the airport don't list them as a tour operator!

The winter 2012/2013 programme, has still not been finalised yet, despite what flights are on sale,I understand that the EZY base at LPL will only consist of 7 a/c, from the end of October 2012,now that decision has been taken, all the schedules are under review, hope that answers your question at this time,It is also not clear if the 2 a/c will be allocated to the LPL base for summer2013,Times are indeed hard!

Times may be hard calflier but watch out for that place 30miles down the road. How many more routes and or aircraft will we loose?,they don't seem hard 30miles down the road!!.

I think you are correct,I think the issue is finanicial, thats is the cost that EZY pays to the airport,I assume they have asked for a reduction in fees, even though the 20 year agreement signed in the late 90,s still has a few more years to run,

although the financial aspects are threatening LPL it seems to me that the boards of RYR and EZY have no qualms about dropping routes here and moving aircraft elsewere,i know people on here are going to say its the economics of it all,but if it is allowed to carry on we will not have much left here at all irrespective of what the stats have been telling us,the management need to address these problems quickly before more becomes even less

I am told EZY are to follow the RYR model, something that is odd in itself, and park aircraft this winter.
Two of the parked aircraft will be at LPL.

Times may be hard calflier but watch out for that place 30miles down the road From last winter, they continue to be stuck on six based (EZY).

I have noticed how a lot of EZY staff now wear MAN airport badges now, is this the take over?
