They are making the seven based work harder than the nine based in w11/12 increasing the average number of departures per aircraft up to 21 from 18 per week.

The EZY Lanzarote flight did not operate this last winter every Tuesday, it appears to fly when the schools are on their holidays.

Apparently EasyJet are launching Basel 4 times weekly this winter from Manchester having previously cut the service from Liverpool a few years ago. Just looking at what EZY does to operate that flight I looked at the first Monday in Feb 2012 and 2013 to compare, they are losing Zurich and Marrakesh and gaining Basle and Tel Aviv. They are also gaining a Belfast rotation but that is with a BFS aircraft. Wednesdays 8th Feb 2012 and 6th Feb 2013: lose - Zurich and Copenhagen; gain - Basle and Berlin. Friday 10th Feb 2012 and 8th Feb 2013: lose - Zurich, gain - Basle. Again they gain a Belfast rotation with a BFS aircraft. Sundays 12th Feb 2012 and 10th Feb 2013: lose - Zurich; gain - Basle. Easyjet have announced today that they are to increase certain routes from Belfast, one of which is MAN. Looking back and its exactly the same as they scheduled when these posts were put up a month ago. But I noticed the Madrid/MAN flights have gone. The reason looks to be the schedulers have made a bit of a mess. By introducing the Basle route they cant operate the Madrid route as well. This is a table for a Friday in mid Feb and shows the six based schedules with the (then) Madrid schedule in limbo. 1 635 Malaga 1320 1405 Hamburg 1805 1835Amsterdam 2155
2 640 Alicante 1305 1355Copenhagen1825 1900 Belfast 2125
3 700Amsterdam 1020 1050 Geneva 1520 1715 Basle 2145
4 700 Tenerife 1700 1800 Munich 2255
5 720 Berlin 1205 1315 Athens 2200
6 755 Bilbao 1250 1350 Paphos 0020
1610 Madrid 2215

EZY may use a Madrid based aircraft or slot it in between the new Manchester to Nice and Reykjavik routes when they are announced!

EZY may use a Madrid based aircraft or slot it in between the new Manchester to Nice and Reykjavik routes when they are announced! Seems like its gone from MAN and the IB as well and so its down to EZY from LPL and RYR from MAN for winter 2012/13. So its not all one way traffic with EZY.
