After rushing in earlier this year to plug the gap Malev left when they went bust, Ryanair have announced to day that they are taking out three based aircraft.
You will remember that FR took two LPL based aircraft to fill the gap, we may get the expected arrival of the new based aircraft promised by FR earlier then expected in 2013.

Sorry, LPL, but your message is confusing. Is FR taking out three LPL based aircraft? And in your second sentence you say we can expect arrival of new based aircraft. I am confused. Is it me? Am I unable to see the obvious? Can you clarify, please?

Sorry it you he's talking about BUD, FR have just announced they are taking 3 aircraft out due airport fees. Hopefully they will bring back the 2 a/c's they pinched from LPL earlier this year.

Am I unable to see the obvious? Can you clarify, please? Malev the state Hungarian airline, went bust earlier this year. In order to take advantage of the situation, FR put in aircraft to operate routes exBudapest. Two out of that tranche came from LPL, hence we dropped from eight aircraft based to six. Now they are doing the reverse and moving aircraft away from BUD and leaving just two.

Having moved routes like Rome and Milan etc and passenger traffic from Liverpool to Manchester earlier this year I would be surprised to see them reintroduce them at Liverpool this side of a major fallout between Ryanair and Manchester Airport.

After a quick browse through the peak summer schedules for August S13 reveals all have yet to be uploaded. For example there are no flights to Kos, Kaunas, Olso Rygge, Rhodes, Shannon, Vilnius and Warsaw Modlin. Also looking at Friday schedules reveals there are seven first wave departures and five last wave arrivals. Shannon has now appeared but Kos, Kaunas, Olso Rygge, Rhodes, Vilnius and Warsaw Modlin have yet to show. The schedules still show there are seven first wave departures and five last wave arrivals.

Kaunas will not show as it has been replaced by Vilnius. Oslo Rygge will be a winter only operation.

Shannon will be 3 weekly next summer, and BCN will be cut from 7 weekly to 4 weekly as part of the latest spat with the Spanish Government.
