One of the forums I subscribe to report the AVP have introduced a scheme where you pay £25 for an entrance pass that allows you 25 entries, whether you be a car driver or car passenger, no time limit, every time you enter the pass is marked off until all 25 entries have been used.
If car passenger has a pass and car driver doesn't then it's £5 for the driver and car, if the car driver has a pass and passenger doesn't then it's £2 for each passenger.

How complicated do things have to get. ? Why not having forked out £25 for a pass and you arrive in your car with a passenger who does not have a pass, don`t the pass stampers just stamp your pass twice one for each person ? does it really matter who has ownership of the pass really apart from the confusing regulations being another money spinner ?

does it really matter who has ownership of the pass really apart from the confusing regulations being another money spinner ? Spose it's a bit like a passport really or a bus pass for that matter, issued to the individual. Can't see it being money spinner though if their saving me (a car driver) £4 each visit over 25 visits and their missing out on the £100 total saving over this 25 visit period. I can only assume 'whoever' may have listened to 'the regulars views' are now rewarding the same. My opion. Dave O

Thought i'd share this with you guys-I asked for a £25 pass today-told to stay in my car [while holding up others behind me] and given a pen & applic. form-asked could I park car while I filled it in-no you can do it here was the reply so having nowt to lean on managed to scratch the details-given rules & regs [told to read-roger, understood sir] , was handed my pass without so much of a "thanks very much for my custom" etc-you could just see the £5.00 a visit melting away-and replaced by £1.00 a visit! They really get me these AVP kiosk guys-Cheshire Countryside Rangers? Good luck when any of you apply for one-hope they smile & say thank you-it doesn't take much!!Lol Julian [Knutsford, Ches]

As far as I'm aware, all the kiosk guys are spotters, and will happily exchange banter regarding whats in and whats due. Recently though, their workload has increased, and sometimes they appear to be 'otherwise occupied'. I wouldnt take it personally. At the end of the day the AVP is a tourist attraction/destination and for it to function it has to make a profit. It isnt solely for spotters, if it was, it wouldnt make a cent and then we wouldn't have the excellent facilty we have now. So stop whinging about the AVP, even at a pound a pop its still good value, if it wasnt there, people would be moaning about there being no where to go!!!

Cloudwarrior-was not having a whinge at the park facility, nor the reduced cost with the pass which I am well aware is a bargain. I've been going for years albeit a couple of times a month. Maybe I caught the chap on a busy day but in the end I was still putting £25 of business through the gate-subject closed, I hope. Julian

These prices seem very expensive!
Wonder if they will continue with the card scheme?
I normally go on a Saturday morning when my card runs out that will be £9 or £12 for the mornings visit - ridiculous
I'm sure this will put off a lot of people
Hope somebody from the AVP reads this forum

Hi Douglas12
I was wondering if the cards would continue to be sold from Monday?
Or if a new scheme would be introduced
