Asked again at TAS shop who advise they have no news and are 'out of the loop'. On exit the guy with the beard told me should be some sort of scheme in a week or so and passes at the printers.
Will just have to keep asking

Was there on Monday, absolutely heaving with the overflow parking area in use, so even at the new prices they can fill the place. I suspect that 99% were not spotters and wonder how many would be there on a freezing Wednesday in February. A sudden shower early afternoon lead to an exodus with thirty or so cars waiting their turn at the exit barrier.
Any idea where the Nimrod is going to be located?

Copy of my posting to another group below.
Was there on Sunday gone, story goes like this:
Hopefully, from 2nd week in June (or just after) you approach the kiosk with £20 (admin fee), they will take your pic, forms are filled in (personal etc) and 10 days later your receive (snail mail) a credit card size bit of plastic with photo and chip in the card.
So you then pay your £25 or whatever when you next visit the AVP which is swiped onto the card and then with each visit the card is swiped and entrance price deducted. I am led to believe it is still £1.
That's what I was informed, needless to say the operative I spoke to said something like 'IF THEY GET ROUND TO THE TRAINING'.
Also, was advised, if you are using a 25/50 visit card at the mo, don't wait till it expires before having pic etc taken otherwise normal entrance fees will apply while waiting for your card to arrive if all your passes have been used up.

I think they will have a re-think about this when the winter months come, and the only people who turn up are in the majority spotters.

Kev It will cost £3 an hour up to 4 hours for 1 car and occupants. After 4 hours the cost stays at £12. This was the case as of Friday.

It depends on how many occupants are in the car.
