Orenair 737-800W, VQ-BEN, has arrived for painting at Air Livery in Manchester and will emerge from the paint shop as Blue Air YR-BMA, a return to 738 operation for the airline.

The 737-700 is registered YR-BMA, ex China Eastern B-5030.
The 737-800 previously reported with this registration, is now YR-BMB and is in a special livery to celebrate the airline's 10th anniversary.

This wouldn't be good, with the possible cancellation of Czech airlines coming into the airport, all the positive news seems to be vanishing a little to quickly

The Bacau route was only expected to have relatively few pax and as such they would be less likely to run through the winter.

Risking the wrath of the forum police by having a view that may differ from that expected...A route like the Prague route in my personal opinion is never going to work. ( Norwegian failed) It is targeted I assume totally at the weekend tourist market. Never been to Czech so don't know anything about the place. I always feel for a route to succeed then thrive and grow it should be at the same time of the day every day , at least once a day. That way you are more likely to attract not just leisure passengers . This is just my opinion and have no connexion to airline industry so may be rubbish!!
I appreciate that Blue Air for example don't fit this mould for Bucharest anyway.

Bulldog, don't be to fast to dismiss routes with less than a daily frequency. A look at a list of Liverpool destinations shows that the vast majority run a frequency of two to four rotations per week - and are successful.

Loads of routes throughout the world have only a couple of flights per week, However I would agree that the less flights per week does reduce the attractiveness of a route for some, There are plenty of shift workers who prefer to have city breaks in the week when flights and sometimes hotels are cheaper and tourist places are less busy.
Prague should have worked as nowadays there is two way traffic on this route with City break and European students/Workers so I think it would have been more viable with an extra flight in the middle. (appreciate this is the Blue Air thread)
As for Bacau would have thought this was summer only, We will find out when next summers programme is released.

As a glass half full kind of guy, I would consider the continuation of the OTP for the Winter to be good news.
