hotel is ment to be opening tomorow acording to the info desk in the terminal but they dont know if theres gonna be a launch or anything. looks all ready to open now with all signage in place

According to my information the Hotel had it's first guests pm 1 October.
It has been a 'soft' launch with an official opening ceremony likely near the end of the month.

New airport hotel officially opened by Phil Redmond yesterday (Thurs 22nd) and is the second and largest of the Hampton by Hilton brand in the UK. Classified 3* but the furnishing from what I have seen is more like 5*. It's well worth a visit next time you are on site. I've posted below a shot from the 11th floor window on the West side with the morning Wizzair just taking off. Not a marvelous picture just a bit rushed!  |
