Planned to arrive at 1345 is: Talon Air TFF159, a Hawker 4000. I cannot trace this fixed callsign.

Following on from Tony's message above re the expected visit of a Hawker 4000,Talon Air's website lists the following Horizons in their fleet (along with a variety of other corporate aircraft)...
N119AK (RC-9) ; N126ZZ (RC-10) ; N349AK (RC-42) ; N699AK (RC-16) ; N899AK (RC-20).
According to the USCAR,N349AK which we are now expecting is registered to Horizon Air Charters of Great Neck,Nassau County,NY...presumably a product of Americas curious habit of using more than one name for the same company (remember Pacific Coast dba Apollo with Jetstreams in the 1980s!)

TFF159 flew Gander International to Dusseldorf International on the 18th September, and most of the call-signs Talon Air use normally incorporates part of the aircraft c/n.

If anyone is interested a Chinook was heading in on 27 at about 12:10, i don't know if it landed.
More than likely ZA707 that John spotted.

Spotted the Goodyear Blimp over Liverpool city centre. Here's a few pics: Anyone know why it's here? I know it was in Manchester a few days back.

Spotted the Goodyear Blimp over Liverpool city centre. Here's a few pics: Anyone know why it's here? I know it was in Manchester a few days back. from the goodyear site : Following a series of flights in March and April earlier this year, Goodyear once again welcomes the return of its aerial safety ambassador to the UK. The Goodyear Blimp will be flying across the UK throughout September and October as part of the 2011 Goodyear Safety Tour, so keep your eyes peeled for a chance to see it in the skies.
