The comments in this thread, and another one on landside facilities and toilets/cleanliness make me not want to visit the airport.
As an outsider (exile) , I hope these problems are exagerated, or if not, addressed with utmost urgence.

Fear not Ron, the toilets are fine. They are kept clean and tidy on a regular basis throughout the day. Like everything else that is used by millions of people every year there comes a time when they need to be refurbished. This time has come and the airport are addressing the problem.

Agreed. However; what happens here is a natural progression of remarks when members are sparked up to comment upon something. Conversations drift. Its the way the internet works, or maybe its just a chain reaction.

I've been unable to book the 280 coach at the beginning of July. It was mentioned on Radio Merseyside the service was under threat. It'll be a pity if the service has been pulled. It seems an unusual time of year to pull an airport service.

It seems an unusual time of year to pull an airport service. National Express are withdrawing the Birkenhead to Leeds & Bradford service from the airport middle of June. This route has not been operating long and I wonder why it has not been given a chance to work. There has been little publicity of its existance and maybe this is the reason why, although I have seen quite a few airport passengers on it.

Really dissapointing, but not really surprising. I've used it 2 or 3 times a month since it started and have been the only passenger on 3 occassions, with probably never more than 10. Given the number of users and the frequency of the service I guess the loses must be stacking up. As previously said a bit of publicity may have helped.
