Good start to the month with Global 5000 N700MH which arrived at 1130 and parked nicely on Stand 3 - the rain even stopped while he landed so reasonable photos could be taken.
Not actually a movement but at 0800 today Tower received a call from MHNOY a Challenger 605, to advise them that he was overhead the IOM at 0759 !!! (unfortunately way above the solid cloudbase.

And also today, for anyone fortunate to be in the North of the Island around 11 am, "Commando formation" of six Sea King helicopters routed East to Blackpool at low level.
Presumably Royal Navy HU.4s going home from Exercise 'Joint Warrior'?

Today at 15:15 there were a few Hawk o/s also at 16:30 noted an N-reg Partivnia with red stripe on approach to 08 soon followed by o/s by Army air corps Defender. I was there, playing with my new zoom lens. There was one Hawk T.1 XX230 of 208 Sqdn which did two ILS approaches and one overshoot, as "Victor ...13". The Army Defender was ZG846 which did three approaches. I saw the Partenavia but missed its reg. It parked at ManxFlyers. King Air M-WLLM appeared to be parked on Area H. Easyjet was G-EZDW. Tomorrow (Thurs) might be ATP day for LX-WAD to come out of the hangar.

Might be an idea for 'Marquis' who started this thread, to use 'modify' to change the thread title to "IoM May movments" to prevent such confusion happening again so easily.
Possibly the webmaster could step-in, but it is best if members get into good habits when starting new threads with all necessary information in the title line - date and place. Certainly those regular regulars who use the 'last 40' posts facility find it very confusing with dated posts from Manchester, IoM, Liverpool and sometimes Barton, if the place is not included in the title.

Yes, its always worth remembering that, even when a location has its own section, the "View last 40 posts" can be somewhat confusing if the subject line does not contain the location where airport movements are concerned.
I have now amended the subject line here and moved the incorrect posts.
Thanks,
Dave

ATP LX-WAD is not now due out of the hangar until Thursday 10th May.
Inbound ATP will be LX-WAT.

Points noted for the future, guys - apologies for the confusion.
On a wet Friday morning the only thing worth noting was that PA28 Cherokee GATRR was parked right outside Ashley Gardner's office instead of inside Woodgate, and there were two Tomahawks at Manx Flyers instead of the usual one plus PA28 GRVRN

Arriving late afternoon was Agusta 109S GVERU.
Linksair Jetstream 31 GLNKS replaced GEIGG with Manx2.com on the 3rd or 4th May - meanwhile GEIGG is apparently going to Blue islands to replace their leased example GJIBO.

Also today the Newtownards Vans "Squadron" invaded in force with GCEID, GCEIG and GCFTT all in their identical yellow/black/white scheme, along with the red and white GPYPE - all have been here before but I'm not sure all 4 have been together before. And Easyjet seem to have fixed GEZDW to the LIV-IOM service - that's four days in a row now. As for Flybe Bristol, if Eastern had a job to make it pay with Jetstream 41s, was it ever going to work with Dash 8 D's ?
