Does anyone know what aircrafts type they will use for the route be nice to see a embraer jet instead of the usual dash 8q which loganair doesn’t have or ATR 72. Loganair do have ATR 72 Aircraft, they have one for Freight G-LMRZ and have just acquired 2 ex Flybe ATR72 G-FBXA or B not sure which.

The flight will not be operated by Loganair's own metal unless tech reasons dictate it. Nyxair of Estonia are scheduled to operate all flights until 29th March.

The Sun Air flights are in addition to the Loganair flights and will operate Monday to Friday, arriving Liverpool at 10:40 and 16:40 and departing Liverpool at 11:10 and 17:10. Flights will operate to Manchester morning and evening either side of the Liverpool flights.
They are basically "scheduled charter" organised by am IoM company called Ettyl. Reservations open tomorrow and are available to the general public.
Flights will operate from 19th March to 27th March.

I like what the I.O.M. are doing, they are far more robust than the mainland, but what about the seriously ill patients (non-coronavirus related) who need specialist care in Liverpool hospitals, particularly Alder Hey? Will there not be an exemption for the Loganair flights (possibly restricted to hospital cases only) and also the islanders need to be fed so I presume the IOM ferries carrying freight will also continue. Although I stand to be corrected.

Although I stand to be corrected. There is an exemption on the no flying for Air Ambulance (Woodgate) flights, in addition the West Atlantic ATP (ops for Royal Mail) and RVL Cessna 406 (ops for DHL) from EMA should continue, and yes the ferry will continue to Heysham freight only.

Do the Liverpool Loganair flights have an exemption? This morning's flight from the island has landed at Liverpool.
