Good news, especially considering Loganair operated Manchester to Londonderry pre-Covid.

The aircraft is Londonderry based and does four return rotations a day:- Stansted/Liverpool/Glasgow/Stansted.

I noticed from another site that Norwich is on Loganairs drop-down menu from Liverpool. No flights are available to book, so I don't know if its an error or if there is something in it.

Think the last time Norwich was served as a scheduled service from Liverpool was in the mid 1970s by Air Anglia using Aztec aircraft, or an Islander when loads required and for much of the time routed via Manchester. Operated something like twice weekly and was mainly provided for Norwich Union Insurance staff in the days before the motorway network was properly connected cross-country and way before the www connected business offices together. Interesting - could well be a misleading lead, and a route I would not rank high in a list of desired links. Not one to get too excited over, but a development worth watching for confirmation of.

I travel to Norwich a few times a year for business. It is a slow journey by car or train, what's more the Liverpool - Norwich service is to separated at Nottingham at some point, so a change would be required there to continue. I have used the air service when it operated from Manchester, I would have always preferred an ex LPL service being that that this airport is so much quicker to transit through.

If this is a new route, would it be an extension of the IOM or LDY route? I also recall Air Anglia in the 70's using F27s and Cessna 421's. I remember talking to a pilot of the Cessna gave me some charts which increased my interest in aviation.
