The extra flights are bookable on the Loganair website and will be operated by IoM based ATR-42 on a Friday and Sunday.
Friday From Isle of Man 07:40 to Londonderry 08:15 From Londonderry 11:10 to Isle of Man 11:40
Sunday From Isle of Man 09:10 to Londonderry 09:40 From Londonderry 12:30 to Isle of Man 13:05

IOM lunchtime flight has been axed on Sunday's. I've had an email notification of a change - which is in reality a cancellation

Loganair are adding a second Saturday rotation from 21st August until 18th September (16:15-16:45).

Doesn't operate on the bank holiday weekend. I wonder if that rotation is primarily for one of the sports teams and they've already sold most of the seats. The prices are well into triple digits for that Saturday afternoon flight

FC Isle of Man play in the North West Counties League this year. Couldn't play last year because of Covid restrictions. The team will use a mixture of ferry and flights to the mainland, mainly on a Saturday. They also have to fund their opponents travel to the Island, plus accommodation. There are twenty teams in the league, so potential for a good number of flights. In addition fans may want to travel independently. Could have a bearing on the extra flight. Bill W

Loganair has released the Summer 2022 schedule. Showing 3 flights a day to Isle of Man (weekdays) and two on Saturday and Sunday, all flown by ATR-72s.
Londonderry will be operated by an ATR-72 replacing the smaller Embraer 145.
As a result seat capacity to Isle of Man will increase by 119% and Londonderry will increase by 12% compared to the peak summer 2021.

The ATR-72 has replaced the smaller ATR-42 on the Liverpool to Isle of Man service from 3rd October. In addition, a second rotation on a Sunday will be added from 31st October.

Loganair ATR-72 600 G-LMTA (msn 1265) was delivered from Billund to Aberdeen today - 19th October 2021.

Not a third Loganair ATR with a registration G-LM*A. Just hope the pilots always get on the right one!
* G-LMRA ATR-42-500, G-LMSA ATR-42-600, G-LMTA ATR-72-600 and all apparently in the same 'tartan' scheme.

Loganair ATR72-600 G-LMTC (msn 1257 ex F-HOPX & OY-YDH) is due for delivery on 12/1 & is expected to enter service on 15/1. Another one to look out for.

Loganair has entered into a code-share agreement with British Airways on its Isle of Man services with the exception of Liverpool.
