In the simplest terms, landside and airside information sources, left and right hands. From 'landside' agents the passenger flight numbers; from 'airside' the alpha-numeric callsigns assigned to some flights by Eurocontrol to reduce the number of aircraft being handled by ATC with similar, so potentially confusing number combinations.
In a normal conditions the 'flight announcement boards' would be programmed through the season, with only 'tweaks' made daily. Post Covid-19, with some flights running and not others, clearly confirmation of those operating is being pulled from various sources by the computer and if the information does not match, both versions being displayed. Needs a human supervisor with an entry code, who knows what's what to look at the screen and delete the near duplicate entries, but likely they are out of the office ensuring the passenger handling system is running smoothly given the strain of 'rusty' staff and new rules.
Generally the passenger ticket times are aircraft doors closed and for departure and arrival at gate, while the air traffic call-signs times are based on the programmed flight planned take-off and landing 'slot' times. A further possible source of confusion is that passenger ticket times are 'local', airside they are 'UTC' (or GMT if you are British), clearly from a quick scan of the arrivals board the computer is programmed to make that correction.

Someone loads a flight number into the system that the FIDS collect its info from and then they load the callsign too.
It only appears to happen at the weekends though.

Quick look round the terminal yesterday. No outlets open landside, airside has Kissing Gate, World Duty free level 3, Starbucks, W.H.Smith and Burger King open. Business lounge to open soon. Quite a lot of passengers about all with masks on and more expected next week with EZY opening up. Separation notices and numerous hand sanitation stations around the whole building. Talking to the EZY base captain there are 18 aircraft at LPL at the moment but this will change as more bases start up. The LPL flights up and running are being operated by other bases and LPL base opens next week.

Is that the correct number of parked up aircraft. As there are no photos of these a/c.,I assume, except for the ones operating revenue flights, they are all remotely parked.

That agrees with the number in 'based aircraft' now that G-UZHZ has returned to Gatwick at 1050 this morning.

When I arrived on Monday afternoon I saw a large amount of EZY aircraft parked, whilst i wasnt able to count them all, it looked around 20, so 18 would see right to me.

"Dalten 1" and "SilverCity", the number, and registrations, of all the overnight-stopping airliners is recorded on the section, index: derbosoft.proboards.com/board/7/liverpool-airport-based-airliners and updated as and when required on a near daily regular basis by "8miles27". There were photos of all the lined-up EasyJet aircraft posted way back at the commencement of 'lock-down' and the end of scheduled services, so likely end of March.

Where can I find these photo's. I haven't seen them on the daily reports. I've worked through most of late March's daily based aircraft reports and can't find anything there either. Can you point me in the right direction. Thanks. Added later by Admin on edit:The extensive search by Dalton and now by myself have failed to locate the three or four images. Can only conclude that the post has unfortunately been removed by the postee. If so a shame as they were good ground level shots of all the noses and tails in a line. They were posted 4 or 5 days after the Belfast based easyJets had arrived for parking-up. Taken to-day Stored easyJets Original post, derbosoft.proboards.com/thread/34455/ljla-mon-30-mar-2020?page=2

Thanks Bluefox. What an excellent picture. Pity there aren't more like that in better circumstances. Individual aircraft are fine, but sometimes repetitive. I really like a good panoramic shot. Thanks again.
