BA/IAG takeover. Apparently IAG are looking at ways to consolidate the aviation industry and a takeover of Easyjet is one of the businesses in their sights. If BA get their hands on Easyjet, I suspect LJLA could be looking at the loss of a major part of their business, given BA's history at Liverpool and their presence at Manchester. Time will tell. This is an old story from the last 12 months, so nothing new there.

At one time BA had a low cost operation called ' Go ' . It was sold to Easyjet.

Neither is Luton / Madrid.
There are a number of routes not showing fares on the calendar but are showing sold out when the date is selected and there are others not showing fares on the calendar but are showing a fare when the date is selected.
Could be they are to update the network now the supposed date of the final slot selection has now passed.

Let us hope so. It would be criminal to lose Madrid

When we flew back from Madrid about four weeks ago there was only one or two empty seats. Be a shame to lose it.

You have to wonder who makes these decision , when that route had a load factor of 86% in September

You have to wonder who makes these decision , when that route had a load factor of 86% in September Load factor is one thing. Yield is more important. 100% full of folks paying £1 is not good!

I wonder if any routes will be replaced the airport stated a while ago they was focused on capturing more Greek & Croatia destinations. It seems that easyjet just don’t have any interest in Liverpool anymore. It is a real shame

If eaysjet just could out and say we are bringing back Ibiza , Berlin & Prague I think that would give everyone the confidence and loyalty back with easyjet.
