I also had an e.mail last week from easyJet advising me that my return flights from Malaga in July & September had both been cancelled. Hope it turns out to be a mistake. I also had one in January, JLA to Malaga, cancelled. As regards the "charging" for the free transfer of flights- I had a similar problem re-arranging the flights mentioned above but when I contacted easyJet by phone (which is not easyPhone, believe me!") it was sorted out free as promised.

a random check in oct for LPL-IOM shows it daily except tuesday and timing differences when compared to when the schedule commences.
edit - changes look like they come into effect 2 oct

This is the first year that Steam Packet will have the large high speed cat Manananan operating LPL-IOM from late March ( ie: for the full season), with a crossing time of 2 hours 30 minutes, up to twice a day.
Fares for a car + 2 people start at £58 each way.
Time scales will play a part as to who loses and who gains.

perhaps, but if you teavel at the weekend you pay a premium. for example in july on the dates i have checked fri-sun for 2 adults with a car is £192 in total.
this is one reason why more and more people are considering flying and hiring a car upon arrival.
but you are right, this is the first full summer with this fast craft, which has a capacity of about 700 passengers.

LPL,
I rang easyJet after receiving e.mails telling me my flights had been cancelled. easyJet confirmed to me today that some had been sent out but it seems quite a few Malaga flights have been ditched - 2 of mine in July & September & one last month. I tried easyJet Customer Experience again today - 96 minutes (I had it on speaker in case someone answered) at 10p per minute - what a rip off! I had to hang on to speak to a rep because I could not reconcile a flight reference they sent me. After giving up I tried the internet link they recommended & they tried to charge me! Eventually got through to a charming lady called "Magda", who was very helpful & sorted it for me. I suspect they are outsourcing the helplinesabroad. I travel with easyJet 6-7 times a year & have always sung their praises but this has been a shambles for months now, they just have not sorted out the cancellation issue.

What a strange schedule for LPL-IOM. Maybe the schedule is not fully loaded. RT

So, if the inevitable happens and FlyBE pull off the route there will be no service on a Tuesday Thats a good one

That's pessimistic, ste-t. If Flybe do pull out of the I-O-M then just watch easyJet do for the I-O-M what they did for Belfast. Remember, BA only managed 40,000 per annum from Liverpool to Belfast and easyJet transformed it when they got their hands on it. The withdrawal of Flybe is not inevitable as I seem to recall that they have maintenance work based at Ronaldsway. Am I correct in this latter statement?

Fly Be also has a contract to fly IoM Health service passengers between the island and Liverpool for treatment at Clatterbridge, Walton and Whiston hospitals.
This is a lucrative contract which has seen loads on the route increase markedly in recent months. I think a worst case scenario would see Fly Be offer just two retunr flights a day. But I do not think that the easyJet schedule, as it stands, is a threat to Fly Be's current operation and frequency.

The remaining S10 schedule has been released so far showing around 220 departures a week. Saturday's schedule appears to require 10 aircraft, with deparures to ALC (0600), AMS (0700), BCN (0715), BFS (0700), FAO (0615), MAH (0705), NCE (0650), CDG (0700), PMI (0620) and AGP (0650). Of the newer routes, August is showing Bordeaux at five pwk, Dubrovnik, Lanzarote and Fuerteventura at 3 per week and Naples at four per week. Trying to find out where the IOM will fit in (there is no room) with the based aircraft reveals some changes to the above with no early Nice and no 10th based aircraft FAR 0615 then GVA (with a MAN return before the return to LPL) PMI 0620 then NCE and FAR MAH 0620 then ALC and PMI ALC 0640 then SXF and NCE AGP 0650 then RHO - A320 AMS 0700 then MAD, BFS and ALC BFS 0700 then JER, PMI and AGP CDG 0700 then BOD and FUE BCN 0715 then KRK and IBZ I am presuming that if the IOM route is to start then there is more routes/frequencies to be revealed especially if EZY is stil to base aircraft number 10 at LPL. A number of changes for the first flights of the day in the peak summer months. The early Mahon flight has been replaced by a early IOM flight and the Mahon is now due to depart at lunchtimes instead. ALC 0555 then ALC again and PMI FARO 0600 then KRK and ALC PMI 0605 then MAH and FARO AGP 0650 then RHO (A320) AMS 0700 then MAD, BFS and IBZ BFS 0700 then JER, PMI and AGP CDG 0700 then NCE and FUE IOM 0705 then BOD and GVA (with a MAN return before coming back to LPL) BCN 0715 then SXF and NCE

Very interesting.
I was under the (clearly erroneous) impression from the early information released that the IoM route was a lunchtime, off-peak operation. Are all the weekday IoM flights first rotation departures?
Is Belfast really down to just two rotations a day - quite a fall for this once very busy route.
Which day of the week have you based your painstaking research on? I find it interesting to note how, with the new longer routes how the number of daily rotations has reduced. Your table shows an average of only just over three rotations per day per aircraft, rather than nearer four a few years ago and indeed five if we go back to the days of BMA and Manx at Liverpool.
