Liverpool seems to have been very successful in attracting the lion's share of business for this event. I read that the Football club were working with the airport to make it a success and were complimentary as to their efforts. So well done.
I would like to get a full picture of what is happening in the North and would be keen to know what might be leaving from Manchester. I think this will give a full picture and hopefully highlight the success of Liverpool this time.
If you have FACTS about what might leave from MCR perhaps it could be shared, either here or on another thread on this forum, or if just anecdotal perhaps you could PM me.

Not sure if it’s still operational, but the NT did offer free access to Speke Hall for residents of Speke and Garson (with proof of address). A Speke friend of mine signed up about 18 months ago so it may be worth checking?

Just want to add my thanks to Beemer and the boys for their efforts getting all the info collated and on the list, gonna be a busy weekend, luckily its a bank holiday so there is an extra day to chill out after!!!!! :-)
Do we think their may be any more additions or changes or is this it now?

Airport execs Twitter saying that there are 9 departures for Kiev on Friday and 20+ on Saturday.
That Friday total looks to be slightly down on the OP listing.

A lot of supporters who have booked via World Choice Sports (Ethiopian Flights) are nervously worried as they have not been allocated with flight confirmation with World Choice Sports citing a lack of landing slots available at Kiev. Worldchoice are saying that the Ethiopian Airlines flights are having issues getting slots at KBP so not yet confirmed.

IMPORTANT UPDATE 24/05/2018 – CHAMPIONS LEAGUE FINAL 26TH MAY 2018
Dear customers,
With deep regret, we have had to cancel three flights to Kiev
Due to so many flights going into Kiev, Kiev Borispyl has unable to allocate times for aircraft.
We have worked extremely hard over the last 48 hours trying to resolve these issues. We have had Liverpool football club, Police, UEFA and everyone at the highest levels of authority trying to resolve this.
We have exhausted all avenues to try and get landing slots. We have had them from Liverpool airport and Manchester airport and we have applied for slots in the correct manner and time frame with the authorities. To reiterate this problem IS with Kiev.
Flight numbers affected and cancelled:
25th May ET8700
27th May ET8701
26TH May ET8704
27TH May ET8705
26th May ET8706
27Th May ET8707
ALL OTHER FLIGHTS ARE UNAFFECTED. You will have received etickets via email in the last week or so.
At this stage we can only make a huge apology and are very sorry let you down on this occasion. We will be processing full refunds of monies paid as soon as possible, starting tomorrow. If you have booked online, this will be refunded to the same payment method. If you have paid by cash, we will issue a cheque.
