So that's Amsterdam tried and gone, Frankfurt tried and gone, and LHR so long ago almost forgotten. That leaves Paris ( AF) as a connecting hub, or by some miracle of all miraculous miracles... Dubai. In the meantime Dublin and Keflavik offer small comfort.
NB if Lufthansa have a temporary shortage of machines then should go and have a look around at St. Athan.

St Athan is tried and gone, as they say.
Lufthansa might be back.

Looks like because of Aircraft availability, we’ve fallen victim to being “Too close to Manchester” and they see they can better fit the aircraft elsewhere.

A confirmation of a return is really desirable for passenger confidence.

I have just flown back form Budapest and there are 9 Lufthansa A321ceos stored their, one of which arrived today, and these are the ones without the engine problems. I think something in the State of Denmark is rotten to use the famous quote from Hamlet.

Nothing wrong with CEOs ametyst. It’s the Pratt GTFs on the NEOs which are failing.

Yes, I know.so, why press these ceo's back into service to over the shortfall with Lufthansa's fleet problems?

Maybe those CEOs are end of life/end of lease? Some of them are pretty old!

Looks as though some may have been stored at Budapest since 2020 in the midst of the COVID crisis.

I would have thought with loads of 70-80 per flight it's ripe for a competitor to move in and take over ?

It’s not all about load factors. If the yield isn’t there then it’s losing money and it will be cut. Im gutted this route has stopped as it’s was my easiest option to get home every few months. Sadly back to MAN
