I missed this thread the first time round. So amusing. For my part:-
Those in the public broadcasting media that cannot pronounce words properly ( eg "neucular" and those who pronounce words such as "ace" when they mean "eight") Over use of the word "like" Those who think the civilised world ends at Dover. Those in the TA that think they are regular 4 star generals. (Similar to a much earlier post...) Work experience students in EASA, Cologne, who think they know better then me, how to fly my aeroplane. Politicians that tell us lies, (pretty much all of them,) and journalists that feed it out to us. (Pretty much all of them) Shop assistants who allow customers who phone in, to jump the queue for service, in front of me.

Public consultations, when the public give the answer the politicians didn't want, overrule it and do what they wanted anyway. Examples are fracking and other planning. These are a complete waste of public money and give the public false hope that they have a say.
Others are Banks Politicians Police journalists Speed camera's in inappropriate places and times cold callers self check outs Some technology - just because we can doesn't mean we have to

Got a good new one for this thread.
Just got a new Audi and was driving the other day, big warning bleep message that tyre pressures low and I need to store them in the MMI. What!!!!!!!!!!
Frantic twenty minutes thinking I am going to skid all over the road and die. NO it appears that if tyre pressures are changed , or we had more than two people in the car I have to tell the car first of this change and store the tyre pressures in the computer. Perhaps a new thread, most useless gadget on a car!!!!!
Other thing is knotted curly phone type wires.

People who wear their airline uniform / identity card to go shopping , wash the car , etc.
People who reverse the car out of their drive instead of reversing in , and can't see where they are going.
People who leave a roundabout whilst still indicating right.
People who don't indicate at all.
People who drive around with kids sticking out of the sun roof.
Jose Mourinho
Sinn Fein and the D.U.P.
The Ku Klux Klan ... they all look the same to me !
The Association of Black and Asian Police Officers ... Is there an Association of White Police Officers ?
"Positive" discrimination ... it's still discrimination !

The fact that, from next week, once the kids have returned to school, the big stores seem to think it appropriate to put Christmas stock on the shelves.

I have to agree with Speke-EZY and Columbo. As a retired Police Officer, and a white hetrosexual male I was at the bottom of the pecking order. Its not sour grapes, not at all, but a statement of fact.
I was once asked why I didn't go for promotion or other jobs by a senior personnel manager. I replied "Due to being a level 5 PC what's the point" This was met with a blank face, not for the first time! and I was asked what I meant I replied
Level 1. Black and Asian officers Level 2. Gay and Lesbian officers, now also LBGT and many other long nonsensical acronyms Level 3. Female officers Level 4. White hetrosexual males with a degree Level 5. White hetrosexual officers with no formal educational qualifications. ME!
There's numerous societies in the Police now, but no society for the majority, but hey, that's progress eh!
