Serves you right for getting a posh car Clive never had that problem with Capris! Must admit I thought the same as you. Talking of Capris pristine examples are fetching silly money - just seen two Mk2 3000 Ghias on EBay starting at £17995. A Brooklands 280 Capri recently went for £30000 !

Council workmen with petrol engined leaf blowers. Noisy bloody things. What's wrong with brushes? Agree with that - they always seemed to do it when I was on nights and trying to sleep.

Reality tv of any kind. Premiership football, people with no manners, young people who dont show respect to anyone older than themselves and vice versa Chewing gum, those who think they know about politics and mostly religion

Professional footballers, and others, who spit in public and the TV editors who insist on showing these poor manners in the post match highlights.

The frankly embarassing award of an MBE for Sqdrn Leader Johnny Johnson of 617 dambusters squadron. I could not think of anyone more deserving of a knighthood.
The disturbing situation of the state of the lack of investment NHS,and the emergency services (once the envy of the world) if we need to "take back control", for gods sake start with these before its too late.

Was sitting on the slope at the Eastham ferry hotel listening to the bands that were playing for a charity day and some kid who was told not to do it rolled down the slope into me as I started to drink my beer that went up my nose

I spend 3 weeks building a control panel and commissioning it, 18 months later I go to give it a once over and make sure all is well only to find that some so called "engineer" has botched a hole in the back of the steel panel, thrown in a couple of cables and dangling there in free air is a choc connector with a nice 240vac live end. 50mm away from the steel front panel door. No insulation, no care taken what so ever, aaarrrghhhh...I despair, I really do !
