Interesting shot of the former Keenair Bandeirante. The previous shots I have seen of this aircraft at Ronaldsway showed it in a very sorry sad state. Hadn't heard that it had been rescued and repainted. While Manx Airlines used Bandeirantes (leased from Genair), none appeared in their colours, only titles. Twin Otter G-BEJP did use that style Manx scheme and was contemporary with use of Bandeirantes, so is appropriate scheme.
Thanks for posting this and updating me on this aircraft, which I thought was heading for the fire dump!

This Lightning F3 (XR749:DA) was displayed at the entrance to Teeside Airport (the former RAF Middleton St George). I have recollections of this jet being overstressed and subsequently finnishing up at Leuchars for battle damage repair training, it was acquired privately and put on display at teesside during 1995 (photo taken in early 1997). The airport decided that it didn't fit there desired image anymore and after a period of storage in the FRA hangar it was sold to a company in Aberdeenshire in July 2004. The company called Score Group PLC who used to service RR Avons have premises in Peterhead and XR749 is now gaurding their gate. The scheme is authentic and is the LTF (Lightning Training Flight) 10th anniversary scheme applied only to XR749. Cheers Shaun

Gate gaurd at RAF North Luffenham from 1961 until its recent acquistion by Bournemouth Air Museum was this Meteor NF14 WS776 painted in 25 Squadron markings, coded 'K'. Although it served with 85, 92 and 60 Squadrons as well as 228 OCU it entered service with 25 Squadron in these markings at West Malling in June 1954. Cheers Shaun
