I've often wondered whether Icelandic airline WOW Air should think about operating out of Liverpool.
They only operate from Gatwick and Bristol in England, and serve nine destinations across North America.

Could wow air fill a 220 seat A321 From Liverpool twice or thrice weekly???
It would be a good route.

If airlines can fill seats with 189 seater aircraft exLPL with little problem cant see why they cant. The added benefit of course will be connections to 9 cities in the US and Canada.

I think the route would stick better with to point to point ,not hub and spoke method personally.
the airline is good but the reviews for wow air on a hub and spoke connection basis is not brilliant, stick to just Liverpool to Iceland. not Liverpool to Iceland then on to Boston or Los Angeles etc.

Admin, the Vueling thread is locked, but it's worth noting that the Leeds and Newcastle to Barcelona routes - which were opened by Vueling at the same time as Liverpool - will also be discontinued from the end of March.
In addition, planned expansion at Manchester has been revised with no sight of an expected base, whilst the MAN - AMS route appears to have been dropped.
It's worth noting that the residents of Barcelona have started to protest against the number of visitors to the city and that future letting/ development is likely to be curtailed. In addition, from personal experience, I note that Amsterdam city council has imposed strict regulation on the letting out of space on houseboats which again must have an impact on future demand, particularly as hotel prices appear to be moving upwards.
