It has certainly appeared on one site to my knowledge: www.theairdb.com/However I have previously noted that this site is not reliable in it's method of reporting. For example an airline ceases a local connecting flight and it posts every flight that was possible by interlining as ceasing, similarly a new connection can list all the options available. Don't recall the positive side being reported for LPL though when KLM stated their service! Regarding the Wizzair flights there is nothing on their site! Hopefully there is something positive happening and we will have official confirmation from the airline or the airport soon

I see today that The AirDB site has a notice that cancels all the previously announced Wizzair routes!
At least they have the Eastern Airways routes on correctly

Good to see Wizzair are in confident mood announcing a new order at the Paris Air Show. Hopefully lead to further development of routes serving Liverpool See: wizzair.com/about_us/news/#wizen009

Nice to see some good news in these challenging times!
Are there currently any Wizz Air based aircraft on "foreign soil" and would it make any economic sense for them to base an aircraft (or 20 ;D) at LJLA?

Looks like WAW is reduced to 3 flights per week for the winter?
Wizz website showing service operating Tue / Thur / Sat arr 13:50 dep 14:20. Gdansk and Katowice remain at four flights per wk (Mon / Wed / Fri / Sun) and Prague 3 per week (Tue / Thur / Sun).
One wonders as well what the chances are of W6 starting a Bratislava service given they have now announced Bratislava - Rome, hoping to capitalise on Sky Europe's ongoing problems?

Further to my earlier posting regarding reporting of new routes, everyone might be interested to see today's example: www.theairdb.comWizzair to launch a total of 255 routes!!! Note the duplication of entries. Relaunching some at Liverpool that have never existed. Nothing on Wizzair site to indicate any of these routes. An ambitious programme might include some routes from Liverpool but would be surprised at Palma (competition with Ryanair and easyJet), Rhodes and Ioannis Kapodistrias (CFU) Greece would be interesting!?!

Sorry to put a dampener on this but these are most probably connections at existing bases, such as Warsaw or Prague, but we shoud expect more routes through Liverpool from Wizzair in the future.

Wizz Air is to stop operating the Liverpool to Prague route from the end of March with the last service operating on Saturday 27th March 2010.
The Liverpool to Prague service has already been reduced to twice a week operating on a Tuesday and Saturday only.

Disappointing news
Looking at the CAA figures AUG 3983 153 per flight SEP 3824 147 per flight
not bad loads for a route only started in mid July (I know loads are not everything and yield is important) Wizz seems to struggle making things that are not going to Poland work but a decision after three months with the above figures baffle me.
